BOULDER, Utah ( ABC4) — Garfield County was shaken up early Tuesday morning as a 3.4 magnitude earthquake struck the area. The epicenter hit around 3:45 a.m. on Jan. 21 near the Escalante River in the area north of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument and Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, according to the U of U Seismograph Stations.

Michigan is 4-0 in the Big Ten after a week-long, two-game trip to Los Angeles that head coach Dusty May said felt like a month. The Wolverines beat USC and UCLA to give them four straight wins, all by double digits. Ian Martinez had a 4-point play with seven seconds left and No. 25 Utah State rallied to beat Boise State 81-79 on Saturday night for its sixth straight victory.

The Michigan Wolverines fell one spot in the latest AP Poll, dropping from No. 20 to No. 21 on Monday. The drop comes after the Wolverines suffered an 84-81 road loss to Minnesota in overtime last Thursday.
